Maybe you're exhausted from pretending everything is fine. Or you're stuck in the same emotional patterns and can't figure out why. Life has shifted and you're struggling to keep up. You don't need to carry this alone.

Tanya is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with years of clinical experience supporting adults through anxiety, depression, life transitions and emotional overwhelm.
Her work draws on Emotion-Focused Therapy, Schema Therapy, and other evidence-based cognitive therapies, with a trauma-informed approach to every session.
Beyond the qualifications, Tanya believes therapy works best when it feels like a real conversation. When you're met with warmth instead of clinical distance.
Tanya started her private practice because she saw too many people feeling rushed, unheard and like a number in an overstretched system. She wanted to create something with more time, more presence and more room to work through what actually matters.
She's navigated her own seasons of change and knows how destabilising life transitions can feel.
It's that lived experience that helps her show up with groundedness, honesty and genuine investment in your wellbeing.

Psychotherapy is deeper therapeutic work that helps you understand your emotions, patterns and life experiences. It's about making sense of why you feel the way you do and creating meaningful, lasting change through evidence based approaches.

Counselling offers supportive, reflective conversations focused on what you're facing right now. Whether it's emotional stress, a difficult decision or a life transition, it's a space to process, gain clarity and feel heard.

My approach is relational, flexible and always centred on you as a whole person. Not just your symptoms or diagnosis, but your history, your relationships, your environment and what's actually happening in your life.
I draw on Emotion Focused Therapy, Schema Therapy and CBT, adapting my approach to suit what you need. Some sessions might focus on understanding emotional patterns. Others might be more practical and grounded in everyday life.
At the heart of it all is a belief that emotions aren't the problem. They're the pathway. When you start to make sense of what you're feeling and why, real change becomes possible.
Therapy is very personal. This is a relaxed 15 minute chat to see if we're the right fit. No pressure or commitment, just a chance to ask questions and get a sense of how I work.

We'll book your first session and start working through what matters most to you. Sessions can be in person at Norwood, SA or via Telehealth. Wherever feels most comfortable for you.

I support adults experiencing anxiety, depression, emotional overwhelm, life transitions, relationship difficulties, grief, work stress and health related concerns. I have a particular focus on helping people who feel stuck or are navigating significant change in their lives.
I'm an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (AASW) with extensive clinical experience across community, government and private settings. I've completed over 200 hours of clinical mentorship and ongoing professional development to ensure my practice remains current and effective.
